BidForge is currently in working beta. The platform is functional and actively used in production, but features, pricing, and output quality are subject to change as we continue development.

Human Review Required

All bids, estimates, and proposals generated by BidForge require human review before being sent to any client, vendor, or awarding authority. BidForge is designed to accelerate your estimating workflow — not to replace your professional judgment. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all outputs before submission.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

While BidForge uses deterministic math, multi-pass verification, and trade-specific AI brains to produce high-quality estimates, no AI system is infallible. Material pricing, labor rates, local code requirements, and project-specific conditions may change. Always verify quantities, pricing, and compliance with your local jurisdiction before submitting any bid.

Beta Expectations

• Features may be added, changed, or removed during the beta period.
• Pricing tiers are subject to adjustment. Existing subscribers will receive notice before any billing changes.
• Service availability targets are best-effort, not guaranteed SLAs, during beta.
• We actively welcome feedback — report issues to support@bidforge.ai.

Privacy Policy

How we handle your data

BidForge is a cloud-based construction estimating platform. We process your uploaded documents (blueprints, specs, drawings) to generate estimates and proposals. Here's exactly what we collect and how we protect it.

What We Collect

• Account information: Name, email address, company name, and billing details when you subscribe.
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Project documents: Blueprints, specs, and drawings you upload are processed to generate estimates. Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Generated outputs: Estimates, takeoffs, and proposals created by the platform are stored in your account.
• Usage analytics: Page views and feature usage via Vercel Analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected.
• Communications: Emails, support tickets, and form submissions you send us.

How We Protect It

We use TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. We follow minimal-permissions principles and limit data access to team members who need it for support or operations. Your project documents are never used to train AI models.

Data Retention

We retain account data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. Project documents and generated estimates are retained while your account is active. Payment records are retained per applicable tax law. You can request deletion at any time (see Data Requests).

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. See the Data Requests section for how to exercise these rights.

By subscribing to or using BidForge, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

BidForge is an AI-assisted construction estimating platform currently in working beta. The platform generates draft estimates, takeoffs, and proposals based on your uploaded project documents. All outputs are drafts that require human review and professional verification before use.

Your Responsibilities

• Review all outputs. You must review, verify, and approve every estimate, takeoff, and proposal before sending it to any client, vendor, or awarding authority.
• Maintain professional standards. BidForge does not replace licensed estimators, engineers, or contractors. You are responsible for compliance with local building codes, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Accurate inputs. The quality of outputs depends on the accuracy and completeness of your uploaded documents.

Permitted Use

You may use BidForge for internal and commercial estimating work within your organization, subject to your subscription plan limits.

Prohibited Use

• Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized access.
• Submitting AI-generated bids without human review.
• Using the platform to generate fraudulent or intentionally inaccurate estimates.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or extracting the AI models or training data.
• Using the product to violate any law or regulation.

Subscription & Billing

BidForge is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. Pricing is listed on our Pricing page. We may adjust pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the billing date.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.

End User License Agreement

License Grant

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the BidForge platform during your active subscription period.

Seats & Access

Each subscription plan includes a specified number of seats. Each seat may be used by one named user. Team plans allow multiple users under one organization account.

Beta Status

BidForge is in working beta. The platform is provided "as-is" during the beta period. Features, capabilities, and output quality may change. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy, or completeness of AI-generated estimates during beta.

Output Ownership

You own all estimates, takeoffs, and proposals generated using your data. BidForge retains no ownership rights to your outputs. We do not use your project data to train AI models.

Warranty Disclaimer

The software is provided as-is. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the fullest extent permitted by law. BidForge outputs are not a substitute for professional estimating review.

Limitation of Liability

BidForge's total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid during the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damages arising from bids submitted without human review.

Intellectual Property

All IP in the BidForge platform, including proprietary AI technology, trade brain configurations, and the core processing engine, remains with BidForge. Your subscription conveys no ownership of the software.

Refund Policy

30-Day Window

We offer a 30-day refund on all subscription plans if BidForge doesn't meet your needs. No questions asked during the first 30 days.

How to Request

Email support@bidforge.ai with your account email and a brief reason. We'll process refunds within 5 business days.

After 30 Days

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial-month refunds after the 30-day window.

Annual Plans

Annual subscribers may cancel within 30 days for a full refund. After 30 days, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund for unused full months remaining.

Data Requests

We respect your right to control your personal data.

How to Submit

Email support@bidforge.ai with:

• Your full name and account email
• Type of request: access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdraw consent
• Scope and timeframe (e.g., "all data since January 2025")

Verification & Timeline

We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests. We acknowledge within 5 business days and respond substantively within 30 calendar days. Extensions of up to 30 additional days may apply for complex requests.

Format

Data exports are provided in JSON or CSV via secure download links. Deletions are logged with timestamps for audit compliance.

Jurisdiction Notes

EU (GDPR): Full rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and portability. You may lodge a complaint with your local DPA.

California (CCPA/CPRA): Right to access, delete, and opt out of sale/sharing of personal information.

Licensing FAQ

What am I paying for?

BidForge is a cloud-based subscription service. Your plan includes access to the platform, all 17 trade-specific AI brains, document upload and processing, and estimate/proposal generation.

Can I use it for commercial work?

Yes. Your subscription grants you the right to use BidForge outputs for commercial estimating and bidding purposes. All outputs require your review and approval before submission.

Is this a finished product?

BidForge is a working beta. The platform is functional and actively improving. We ship updates regularly. Your feedback directly shapes the product.

How many users?

Apprentice includes 1 seat. Journeyman includes 5 seats. Master includes 15 seats. Additional seats available on request.

Do I get updates?

All subscribers receive continuous updates as part of their subscription. New features, trade brain improvements, and platform upgrades are included at no additional cost.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period.

Is there a trial?

No free trial at this time. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans — if BidForge doesn't work for you, you get a full refund.
